


An officer went to speak to the adults about their conduct, while another officer transported the juveniles home. The juveniles said they became frightened, left the scene and called the police. One of the juveniles said they were walking up the street when two adults started to yell at them that they were going to get their teenage nephew to come and fight them. Upon arrival, officers made contact with four juveniles ranging in age from 10 to 16 years old. 30 to a report of a dispute on Grant Street. Calls were made to job and family services and the humane society for two cats and a dog. They waited for housing inspectors to arrive and re-entered asking if they could do an inspection. Officer left the residence after checking that everything was ok. The officer told them the toddler made several calls to 911. Parents awakened and asked why the officer was in the house. The officer followed the child into the home where the parents were sleeping. The child said mommy is sleeping and can’t get up and that she thought mommy was dead. The child came from the front of the house and the officer asked the child where’s mommy. The officer, who was unable to make contact with anyone but the child, found the back door open and yelled into the house. While trying to get toddler to get an adult, the officer noticed a large amount of trash around the property and advised dispatch to notify the health and planning department. After knocking at the door for a third time the officer noticed a toddler appear in the window holding a cell phone.

– Officers responded to a Bank Street resident where a child repeated made calls to 911. Officers attempted to speak to the youth to see why the change in behavior. A deputy tried to call him back several times, but was unable to reach him. Monday that a former co-worker may be trying to scam him. A man on state Route 172 in West Township reported at 5:53 p.m. The owner was contacted and en route with assistance due to the vehicle being disabled. Monday in the 41000 block of Miller Road in Fairfield Township. An abandoned vehicle was reported at 9:06 p.m. He was identified and told to stay off of the road, saying he was walking back home to Canton. He was located walking west in the grass carrying a tiki torch that was not lit. Tuesday for a report of a man walking in the area carrying a tiki torch and allegedly waving it at passing vehicles. A deputy responded to the 26000 block of U.S. 1 to a shooting complaint in the 33000 block of Teegarden Road in Hanover Township, but nothing was found.
